Veliyankode Umar Khasi

Valiyangode Umer Qazi ( Arabic:عمر القاضي بلنكوتي, Malayalam: വെളിയങ്കോട്ട് ഉമര്‍ ഖാസി(റ) ) the mystic leader and Muslim scholar, was a freedom fighter and poet. He pioneered the Civil disobedience movement by denying to pay the tax to British government in British India.〔http://www.jaihoon.com/334.htm〕 He was a companion of Sayyid Alawi Moula Daweela also known as Mampuram Thangal. He fetched the position in Indian Arabic poet by composing lines under the poetic meter.
==Early life==
He was born to Ali Musliyar, the decedent of Sheikh Hasan Tabee, and Amina, in the house known as “Kaziyarakath” in Hijra 1177 Rabee Awal 10. His parents died before he was ten years old. He obtained the basic studies from his father in his early childhood
